My Henna obsession...
Well, I must say that I had WAY too much fun with my Momma this weekend, and my new products are not ready to debut. Actually, they are ready, but I am not. I still need photographs and to get my listings up, so that post will just have to wait a bit longer.
So, instead, I am going to continue on with my shop series. :)
Once I got the hang of things, I really started experimenting with designs. Bows and owls and soccer balls are cute, but I wanted something no one else had. Enter the world of henna designs. I familiar with henna art and had seen some really incredible designs, but had never really delved into the art itself. I started pouring over books, website and photographs looking for ideas, and learning all about techniques and styles. I have to admit, for about a month I was totally obsessed. What's really fun is that with henna, the design options are pretty much endless, so I jumped in head first!
What resulted are some of my favorite designs, and certainly crowd favorites in my shop:
The "Sunflower" is by far my favorite, even though it's the most time consuming to make. I keep thinking that I'll go back and do more designs like this, but somehow I always seem to get distracted by new ideas. :) I suppose that's a good thing as it keeps the selection in my shop varied, and keeps things interesting for me too.
XOXO

Wow, those are awesome, Rachael!! It makes me wish I had a little baby again. Very creative and stylish for the wee ones.
Thanks for linking this up to the Sunburnt Cow link party.
Cheers,
Tracy
